Hector's Takeaways
Leithfield Beach Holiday Park is located 40Kms north of Christchurch in the Hurunui District. We are a family oriented park with power and tent sites along with one cabin and 2 onsite caravans.
There are heaps of fun things to do. We are an ideal holiday destination for you and your dog.
The facilities at the camp include a tennis court and a children's pool. Fishing, swimming, and bush walks are some of the major recreational activities in the area.
Pet Information
We know dogs are a member of the family and that they deserve a holiday too! Don't leave them behind. Start planning your holiday at Leithfield Beach Holiday Park! Dogs are welcome all year round including school holidays.
We now have one large fully fenced powered site so your dog can enjoy some time off their leash.
We expect you to bring your own campervan or caravan but we have two caravans available on site for guests bringing their dog in a car.

Pet Terms & Conditions
Dogs are allowed in the camp at the discretion of the camp management only. Being able to have your pet here whilst on holiday is a privilege, not a right. If your dog’s presence should cause distress to other campers, you may be asked to remove it.
Dogs MUST be on a lead at all times when in the camp , If tied whilst onsite, the total length of the lead should not exceed 2 metres so as to not impede other campers.
No dogs are permitted near the camp facility buildings Doggy ‘doos’ must be cleaned up immediately Excessive barking or aggressive , territorial behaviours may also result in the owners removing the dog. This may seem excessive to some, but not all people enjoy the company of dogs and we would like to ensure that all campers, especially children feel safe within the camp environment at all times.
Cats are not allowed, we have a wonderful family of quail that we want to preserve as much as possible.
