Parking: There is individual parking spaces for every unit/cabin, and each campsite may have only one vehicle parked alongside one caravan, campervan, or tent.
Caravans and Campervans:
All caravans and campervans MUST have a current electrical warrant to plug into our powered sites. If no electrical warrant, an unpowered site will be offered as an alternative. All vehicles on site must also have a current registration and warrant of fitness

Here at Whakatane Holiday Park we understand that pets are family! And what is a holiday without all of your family members? We love being able to offer a pet-friendly service, so be sure to pack the dog bowl and toys, because they are welcome here! As long as we can give them a pat, and the below terms and conditions are strictly followed:
All pets MUST be on a lead at ALL times
Pets are NOT permitted to enter any of our buildings/facilities
Pets MUST be cleaned up after
Pets must not be left alone onsite at any time
No pets to be left in vehicles alone over summer
As little barking as possible, please keep your dogs quiet
At any time, if management considers your pet to be dangerous, excessively noisy, disruptive to other guests in any way, or if any of the above terms and conditions are breached, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and you will not receive a refund.
Property Facilities
At the back of our park (over the fence) there is a dog agility/obedience course
1km away there is a dog park
1.7km away is the nearest vet. All other vets are within 2.5km away from our park
Warren Cole walkway - this runs along the side of our park and leads people into town and to the harbor entrance
There are plenty of walkways and trails around Whakatane
There are plenty of Beaches close by
Pets are welcome all year round, but over the high season pets must be pre-arranged (December 15th - Feb 28th), and 2 pets max per site.
We allow all small animals - dogs, cats, etc. We do not allow horses or any other large animals.
